Mirrors

When you look into the mirror what description do you assign yourself. Do you look in the mirror and say I’m beautiful, I’m handsome, I’m smart, I’m capable, I’m powerful, I’m important. Or do you tell yourself all the things you wish you were. We all struggle and have flaws, but no one said you couldn’t appreciate what you have and who you are in the moment. It’s okay to feel confident even if you are next to the person you think has it all together.
The gag is, they don’t. Don’t feel like you have to measure up to something based on a picture or a video you saw on social media or TV. Even when talking to some people, you have to realize that we all talk a good game. We all want to live in positivity. No one is going around like yeah man I just feel like crap. Oh I don’t like myself today. Oh I really don’t think I’ll make it through this. I’m broke. I’m lonely.
Maybe we should be that transparent, but that’s another topic. The point is, most people are trying to combat those feelings or circumstances by speaking the opposite. Faithing it, till they make it. We all want to believe in that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. So to me the best thing to do is to be kind to yourself through the process. Don’t beat yourself up. It will change your days in a positive way.
